Future Fit Experience: Temporary Exhibition Design for the Future Fit Festival 2025

The Future Fit Experience was part of the Future Fit Festival 2025 – Vienna’s festival dedicated to jobs and skills of the future.
From April to June 2025, the festival hosted ovaer 265 events across the city, offering a wide range of career guidance and training opportunities to approximately 28,600 visitors.

A space for career orientation and future perspectives

Serving as the central hub of the Future Fit Festival, the interactive experience space was located in the heritage-listed stables of Vienna’s MuseumsQuartier.
The exhibition provided young people and adults alike with a playful introduction to topics of career orientation and continuing education.
Its aim was to offer guidance, spark individual interests, and encourage participation in further programs.

The space was conceived to perform effectively within architectural constraints such as heritage protection, sensitive surfaces, and challenging acoustics – being reversible, lightweight, and free of structural interventions.

Open, accessible, INTERACTIVE

A scaffolding framework formed the basic structure, complemented by textile surfaces and a lightweight ceiling that helped define zones, guide visitors, and improve acoustics.
A considered use of color and lighting created clear sightlines leading visitors through key stages – from reflecting on personal values and interests to discovering strengths and exploring various professional fields.

Vibrant and Inviting

The Future Fit Experience was designed to be accessible to all age groups – not only to young people but also to adults seeking new professional directions.
The architecture remained minimal yet colorful, shaped by a thoughtful choice of materials and an intentionally open spatial structure.

Circular by design, resource-conscious in execution

All materials and components were easily separable by type, glue-free, and reusable.
The scaffolding system, flooring, and textiles were either rented or designated for future use.
