Two-in-One: CHALLENGING ROOM SITUATIONS!
For a room that functions both as an exhibition and event space with a flexible transformation that could be carried out by a few people in a very short time seamlessly, we proposed a system that uses proven theatre technology.
Mobile wall elements can be lifted pneumatically and moved with little effort.
In order to be able to use the tall, light-filled atrium area of the museum as a lounge and recess room, we designed the exhibition in the low side of the room. The showcases float in a wall of tinted glass visually connecting the two areas of the room and at the same time providing light protection for the sensitive exhibits.
