How can we break through expectations?
For this special exhibition design, we took up well-known Islamic elements and worked with comic-like illustrations, succeeding in a contemporary implementation of a loaded theme.
The exhibition linked current issues with historical objects and developments. Aspects of religion were presented from social, economic, and cultural perspectives. It also showed how Muslims live in Austria - then and now.
