Privacy policy

The protection of your personal data is important to us. We process your data exclusively within the framework of the legal provisions (DSGVO, DSG 2000, TKG 2003). In the following we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing within the scope of our website.

I. Contact with us

If you contact us by e-mail, your data will be stored by us for the purpose of processing your inquiry and in case of further questions. Project-related messages are kept for up to 30 years.

We will not pass on data without your consent.

II. Cookies

Our website uses cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your end device with the help of the browser.

We use cookies to make our offer user-friendly. Some cookies remain stored on your terminal device until you delete them. They enable us to recognize your browser the next time you visit us.

If you do not wish this, you can set up your browser so that it informs you about the setting of cookies and you only allow this in individual cases.

If you deactivate cookies, the functionality of our website may be limited.

We use log data without allocation to the person of the user or other profile creation in accordance with the legal regulations only for statistical evaluations for the purpose of the operation, security and optimization of our website. However, we reserve the right to evaluate the protocol data retrospectively if there are concrete indications of justified suspicion of illegal use.

III. Plugins

On our website there are social share buttons available to share interesting articles or content via email or Facebook. We use the Shariff Plugin for this purpose, which ensures that direct contact between the social network and visitors is only established when the share button is actively clicked. In this way, we prevent users from being recorded by the respective social media services with IP address without actively clicking on the social media button and their further activities on the Internet being logged.

IV. Web Analysis

Our website uses functions of the web analysis service Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. For this purpose cookies are used, which enable an analysis of the use of the website by your users. The information thus generated is transferred to the provider's server and stored there.

You can prevent this by configuring your browser so that no cookies are stored; we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all the functions of this website to their full extent. You can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website and its processing by Google by downloading and installing the following free browser plug-in: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.

We have concluded a corresponding contract with the provider for commissioned data processing. Your IP address is recorded, but immediately (e.g. by deleting the last 8 bits) anonymized. Thus only a rough allocation or localization is possible. Our concern in terms of the DSGVO (legitimate interest) is the improvement of our offer and our web presence. Since the privacy of our users is important to us, the user data is only processed anonymously. The user data is stored for a period of 24 months.

The relationship with the web analysis provider is based on the Privacy Shield Agreement between the European Union and the USA. Google is licensed under the Privacy Shield Framework since September 2017.
